There are loads of great things to do in cornwall, so we asked a couple of local up and coming musicians what their favourite things to do are.
Ben Thorpe is an indie acoustic singer songwriter
"We're pretty lucky in Cornwall that there's an abundance of things to see and great eateries. Me and my other half love seal watching at Godrevy. It's a really special thing to be able to see, a few days ago there was 60-70 of them just soaking up the sun.
Porthtowan is a favourite for us too, the beach is rustic and the Blue Bar serve up great food and drink. Occasionally we visit Marazion and walk across the front, there's an amazing deli/cafe there called Delicious, it's a quaint little place selling homemade, locally sourced breakfast, lunch and cakes. Their Mezze platter is amazing. "
Louis Scott is a singer in local reggae band The Stalks.
"My favourite pub would have to be The Blue Bar in Porthtowan or The Driftwood Spars, any pub that is close to the beach is great to me! The best beaches are Sennen and the surrounding beaches, Chapel Porth is a great beach too"
Megan is an amazing singer song writer from Truro
"My favourite beach has to be Porthcurno, it's so secluded and peaceful, reminds me of great memory's!
I love walking my 3 dogs along Hayle coast, drinking at my local pub, Threemilestone The Victoria Inn, in the beer garden in the summer is bliss! I love popping into Truro town to have a nosey.
One of my favourite places to watch live music would have to be The Lusty Glaze Newquay, it's so convenient for everyone, apart from the dreaded stairs!
My favourite bar would be Vertigos, very chilled, great music. My favourite place to eat is Falmouth Sea Food Cafe, beautiful restaurant and I love fish food! Very fancy."
