BEER FESTIVALS
driftwood 3rd annual sausage & ale festival 30th April - 3rd may bank holiday
For the 3rd year running the Driftwood put on it's sausage & ale festival, and this year will be bigger & better.
Live music, entertainments, beer, cider, ginger beer, scrumpy and of course sausages !!
It's Bolster festival with lots of entertainment with live music, street entertainment and art in the local businesses. Will be lots of fun and merriment.
Pete the Brewer will be brewing on Friday 30h under the watchful eye of German TV!

Saturday entertainment is from Black Friday at 10pm
Saturday at 3pm the lovely Sam Naylor - outside if the sun shines!
Friday's entertainment is from Gallowglass at 10pm
Sunday evening Mark Kaczmarek will regale you with tales from the tin mines. This Former Cornish tin miner & now local councillor takes ses the funny side of working down the mines!
On Monday the Newquay Lifeboat singers are heading over for an evening of singing & beer.
We are not charging for any event, but we will be asking for donations to Shelterbox - please give generously.

sausages
This year we will run our bar snack menu, a small specials menu and a sausage menu using Cornish made sausages serving from 12 - 2.30pm and again from 6.30 - 9pm.
From about 2pm - 6pm on Saturday, Sunday & Monday we will have a sausage BBQ on one of our balconies overlooking the sea.
Bolster sausage
We have teamed up with Tony Bateman the local butcher who has made a lamb sausage (Bolster used to terrorize sheep). The lamb has been marinated in one of our beers named 'Bolster's Blood' before being made into a delicious sausage. These will be avaiable over the weekend - but subject to availablilty.
